I’m not your typical blogger. And why should I be?
Before I ever hit publish on my first post, I dove headfirst into the world of blogging advice—guides, Youtube playlists, newsletters, Pinterest threads, podcasts, you name it. I soaked it all up like a sponge: how to build an audience, how to monetize fast, how to niche down, how to craft clickable titles and plan out months of content in advance.
I followed it all—until I didn’t.
Because somewhere in the middle of trying to do it the “right” way, I realized the only way it would ever feel right… was if I did it my way.
Exclusively Souled was born out of that decision. A decision to stop chasing numbers and start chasing meaning. I’m here for the people who crave connection through words. For the Exclusive Souls—those who want to know they’re not alone in what they think, feel, or go through. Or maybe they’re just curious enough to open themselves up to another perspective.
This blog is a labor of love, not a business plan. I don't post for views. I post for truth.
So, in case you're wondering: No, I’m not the standard blogger. Here's what makes it clear:
1. I’m Not the “Pick-One-Niche” Blogger
Every expert says the same thing: “Pick a niche and stick to it.” Supposedly it makes you easier to find, follow, and market.
But here’s the thing—I’m not one thing. I don’t live in one box, and I definitely don’t write in one lane.
I write what speaks to me, hoping it speaks to someone else too.
2. I’m Not the Curated-Aesthetic Blogger
You won’t find a color-coordinated feed or hyper-polished imagery here. I appreciate a good vibe as much as the next person, but I’m more about what’s said than how it looks.
Some of the most meaningful moments in life are messy, raw, and unfiltered. That’s how I like to keep this space too—real over refined.
3. I’m Not the Sponsored-Post Blogger
I’m not knocking anyone who makes a living this way—get your coin! But for me, blogging has never been about promotion.
I didn’t start Exclusively Souled to sell anything. I started it to share something—thoughts, truths, little soul sparks.
Though, who wouldn't love a good sponsor. *Tee-hee* 😜
4. I’m Not the Content-Calendar Blogger
Some bloggers have three months of content planned, scheduled, and color-coded.
Me? I write when the moment hits. When something bubbles up and won’t leave me alone until I put it into words.
I don’t force the flow. I follow it.
5. I’m Not the High-Investment Blogger
Let’s talk real life for a second: sometimes money is just… funny. You know what I mean?I didn’t launch with a premium theme, pro photos, or a branding agency. I cobbled this thing together with free tools, a lot of Googling, and some trial-and-error.
But what I lacked in budget, I made up for in heart.
Exclusively Souled wasn’t born in a boardroom—it was born in quiet moments, late-night thoughts, and the hope that maybe someone out there needed to read what I needed to write.
So Why Do I Blog?
Because expression is healing. Because creating something out of nothing is magic. Because I believe words can make people feel seen—and sometimes, that’s everything.
This blog is for the people who crave depth. The ones who feel a little out of place but still want to be found. It’s for the Exclusive Souls who feel deeply, think differently, and want something real to hold onto in a world of surface-level scrolls.
If That’s You… Welcome.
I might not be the typical blogger. I don’t have all the answers or a formula for success.
But I’ve got stories, thoughts, and plenty of soul to share—and if that resonates with you, I’d love for you to stick around.
Leave a comment. Subscribe. Share if you feel moved. Or just keep coming back when your spirit needs a little something different.
We’re all figuring it out. Might as well do it together.
✍️ Until Next Time,
Exclusively Souled ✌
